The district covers the transportation within the guidelines established by the school board. The district also provides transportation for field trips and extracurricular activities. Buses are inspected yearly by the Washington State Patrol. Bus rules are given to students at the beginning of the school year. Riding the school bus is a privilege that may be denied to any student who does not demonstrate acceptable behavior. Parents are reminded that if they want their child to ride a different bus, they have to send a note with the child to school. The note should include the child’s name, the date, information on where they are to be dropped off and the parent’s signature. Please refrain from calling the office with special bus requests unless it is an emergency. Thank you for your cooperation.
