Superintendent's Blog July 2019 Update
Dear Wishkah Valley School Family,
Last Spring we applied for and received a State of Washington grant for two million, seven hundred dollars. The State received applications from 73 school districts in the amount of over $120 Million dollars and only had $15,349,000 in available funding. Wishkah Valley School District received an HVAC re-modernization grant and Work has begun! It has been a very tough process. CONGRATULATIONS!!!
I hope that you are enjoying a fun, relaxing and safe summer; it is almost that time again for a new school year. Our students had a great 2018-2019 School Year here at WVSD led by an outstanding class of 2019. The future looks good for our upcoming school year with student excitement about excelling in academics, in student activities and in athletics.
With sincere appreciation we say Thank-You to Mr. Denny Van Blaricom who has recently resigned from the WVSD School Board of Directors. Mr. Van Blaricom is a WVHS alumni and has served on the school board for a number of years providing leadership and core values for our district. Denny plans to stay involved with WVSD, just not with monthly meetings!
Are you interested in becoming a WVSD School board member?
Wishkah Valley School District currently has a school board director opening in district #2. Who are school directors? Washington State’s public school districts are directed by publically-elected school boards. These board members — called "school directors" — are citizens just like you!
Contact Mrs. Allesia Cooper at email@example.com or 360 532-3128 for information on how to apply.
Wishkah Booster Club / PTO needs you!

What you need to know:
