Dear Wishkah Valley School Family,

I hope that you are enjoying a fun, relaxing and safe summer; it is almost that time again for a new school year. I am excited to begin my duties as the new superintendent of the Wishkah Valley School District and I want to welcome you to our district web site, https://www.wishkah.org/,  and our facebook page is www.facebook.com/WishkahValley. I have been meeting with Mr. Don Hay (Dean of Students) and with Mr. Bob Eager (former Interim Superintendent), to help orientate me and I am ready to work on the challenges that we will be facing over the next few years. My family and I appreciate the wonderful welcome we have received in Wishkah and we look forward to working with everyone while maintaining the strong, positive school district that Wishkah Valley has become.

For those of you new to the area, Wishkah Valley School District is located twelve miles north of Aberdeen, Washington in Grays Harbor County.  Our small community makes an ideal setting for community involvement and quality education. Wishkah is a dynamic and caring community which takes pride in its small-town charm. We are the home of the Loggers and Loggerettes with successful student-centered programs in academics, activities and athletics. The school is the social center of the community. The area’s rural setting hosts unmatched scenic beauty with the mountains and river surrounding us.

If you have questions or concerns feel free to contact our administrative assistant, Mrs. Gwen Hamilton, at (360) 532-3128. She can also give you information on board policies, processes and procedures and assist you with setting up an appointment to meet with staff members. Her email address is ghamilton@wishkah.org .

We want all visitors, parents and community members to feel welcome as they call or visit our facilities. Wishkah Valley School District is known as an outstanding school district by virtue of the relationships we have formed. We know and understand that building positive and productive relationships is the key to success, for our students, our staff and our community.

Please let us know if we can be of assistance to you or your student. Thank-you for your interest in our schools, our website, and for your support.
