    Why not Wishkah?!~

I left journalism full time in August, 2017 after nearly 30 years of working at daily and weekly newspapers and just over 19 years at The Daily World in Aberdeen. When I left, I was the sports editor and was a member of the sports department for 18 of the 19 years at TDW.

I went back to school, studied hard and worked hard to get here. Like everything in life, you have to work at it.

  • What else?

I am very familiar with Wishkah, especially its sports teams. I covered the 2008 state 1B championship final between Wishkah and LaCrosse-Washtucna at the Tacoma Dome and covered many other Loggers and Loggerettes teams in my time at The Daily World. I am looking forward to joining the staff here at Wishkah and getting to know everyone in the building and in the community.

There's more that I can say, but I'm going to be brief. I'm excited to be here. Go Loggers.
