• Hello!  My name is Shannon Patterson and I am very excited to be involved in the music program at Wishkah.
Music has always been a passion of mine.  I started piano lessons at six years of age, then switched to cello in fourth grade.  I enjoyed participating in both orchestra and choir through junior high school, and then my family moved to a school district that did not offer orchestra.  So I joined band!  I began playing the trombone in tenth grade, and loved every part of being in band - including leading the marching band as drum major my senior year.
I continued to participate in music at Eastern Washington University - GO EAGLES!  With opportunities like marching band, concert band, jazz band, pep band, private lessons and trombone choir, I was able to have a great time and grow as a musician at Eastern.  I was even lucky enough to lead the EWU Eagle Marching Band as drum major my last two years!
Now I can't wait to share my passion and abilities with the music students at Wishkah.  Working together we will reach new heights and have fun along the way.
I love hearing from students, parents and community members - so please call or email if you have any questions or comments.  Here's to a great year at Wishkah Valley School!
